Compare the NiSi 150mm System Professional, Advance, and Starter Kits to find the best fit for your landscape photography needs and budget.
Quick answer
For most serious landscape photographers, the NiSi 150mm System Advance Kit II offers the best balance of essential filters and value. Choose the Professional Kit II if you need the widest versatility, or the Starter Kit II if you're new to large filter systems.
What to consider before choosing a 150mm filter kit
The NiSi 150mm system is designed for ultra-wide-angle lenses with large front elements. All three kits share the same high-quality filter glass with true-to-life color, no color cast, and durable Nano coatings that repel water and oil. The key differences come down to which filters are included and the overall value.
If you frequently shoot long exposures or need multiple grad stops, the Professional Kit includes more filters and a higher total value. But if you mainly need a solid ND and a couple of grads, the Advance or Starter Kit may serve you just as well without the extra cost.
Trade-offs at a glance
- Professional Kit II: Includes the most filters and highest total value ($1,899). Best if you regularly need multiple ND strengths and graduated filters for complex scenes.
- Advance Kit II: Priced at $1,130.77 with a catalog value of $1,609.95. Covers the most common filter needs without the premium of the full set. Ideal for photographers who want quality without overbuying.
- Starter Kit II: Priced at $851.29 with a catalog value of $1,220.95. Includes fewer filters but still gives you the core ND and grad options. A smart entry point if you are new to 150mm systems or have a tighter budget. If you later need more filters, you can add them individually to the same NiSi 150mm system.
