NiSi JetMag Pro Prolock Luminous 58mm-82MAG Magnetic Adaptor Ring

The NiSi JetMag Pro Prolock Luminous 58mm-82MAG Magnetic Adaptor Ring adapts lenses with a 58mm front filter thread to the JetMag Pro 82MAG magnetic filter system. It is an upgraded adapter ring built for photographers who work in the dark: an enlarged ProLock locking area holds filters more securely, while glow-in-the-dark lock markings make the ring faster and easier to fit, align, and lock in low light.

Designed for Low-Light and Night Photography

The Prolock Luminous Adapter Ring was created for the moments when standard gear slows you down: astrophotography sessions, star trail shoots, and pre-dawn landscape starts. When you are working by headlamp or by feel, its luminous markings and enlarged locking area take the guesswork out of mounting and securing your filters.

Luminous Lock Markings for Instant Orientation

Specially formulated glow-in-the-dark markings absorb ambient or torch light and continue to glow in darkness. A quick glance shows exactly where the lock position sits, so you can align, fit, and secure the ring without interrupting your workflow or ruining your night vision with a bright light.

Enlarged ProLock Locking Area

The upgraded ProLock design features a significantly wider locking section than a standard adapter ring. This provides a more secure hold and helps prevent accidental loosening from unintended contact during normal handling, letting you stay focused on capturing the moment rather than repeatedly checking that your gear is still tight.

A Secure Hold for Rotating Filters

The wider locking range keeps filters secure even after slight rotation, such as when fine-tuning a circular polariser or adjusting a variable ND. Rotational adjustments transfer less force to the ring itself, so the adapter stays locked to the lens while you dial in the filter above it.

Knurled Grip for Fast, Confident Handling

A precision-milled knurled surface wraps the outside of the ring, ensuring a firm grip and no slip during critical adjustments. Attachment and removal stay quick and positive even with gloves, cold fingers, or wet hands, which matters when you are setting up in the dark or racing changing light.

JetMag Pro Magnetic System for Fast, Secure Workflow

Once the Prolock ring is threaded onto your lens, the JetMag Pro magnetic system takes over. Compatible 82MAG filters snap into place in seconds and hold securely while you shoot, so you can swap between an ND, CPL, or night filter in the field without re-threading anything.

Fully Integrated with the JetMag Pro Filter System and Caps

The ring works with the complete JetMag Pro 82MAG line-up, including ND, CPL, VND, Natural Night, Star Soft, and other compatible 82MAG filters, along with magnetic front caps. It adapts to different shooting scenarios while maintaining image quality and full operational flexibility across your setup.

Lightweight Aluminium Construction

Full aluminium construction delivers a lightweight yet durable body that resists corrosion and withstands harsh environments, from coastal spray to alpine cold. The 58mm-82MAG version brings the same upgraded locking experience to lenses with a 58mm front thread.

Whether you are shooting the Milky Way from a remote dark-sky location, capturing star trails through the night, or simply working through a fast-changing sunset, the NiSi JetMag Pro Prolock Luminous 58mm-82MAG Magnetic Adaptor Ring delivers a more secure, more visible, and more confident connection between your lens and your JetMag Pro filters. It is a small upgrade that removes friction from every low-light shoot.

Also available in 58mm, 67mm, 72mm, 77mm, and 82mm thread sizes.
